Lina Yakubova was born in Armenia in 1975 in the Assyrian village of Kuylasar (Dimitrovo). Her father is Albert Yakubov, mother is Karine Khachatryan. She has 2 brothers - Edward and Karen. She graduated from the secondary school in Artashat (Armenia) in 1992 and from Yerevan State Institute of Theatre Art and Cinematography in 1996. Lina finished her MA "Theatre traditions in Aincient Syria" in 2001. Now Lina is a PhD student atv Yerevan State University.

Work experience:

Her professional career includes working as a journalist at different TV stations in Armenia.



Documentaries:

Her first documentary works are "Cross Made of Lebanon Cedar", "Aragacotn: Native Home" were completed in 2001.
