The film is about the most horrible page in the history of the Assyrian and Armenian people – Genocide committed by the Ottoman Turkey in the beginning of the 20-th century. The film is based on the archive materials and documents, opinions and research materials of different historians.

Today the Syrian Arab Republic is a unique country where a lot of peoples and tribes left their traces. In the Middle Ages, this territory was called Asorik in the Armenian sources. Christian culture, the school of the Middle Ages and education developed here.
After tragic events of 1933 in the North of Iraq after massacres of the Assyrian villages, Assyrian refugees move to Syria. They start building a new life in the region of Al-Khasaka.

The film is about the history of Assyrian settlement of the territory of the Eastern Armenia, about the Assyrian Association of Armenia, Assyrians of Armenia in the present time.
Assyrians settled in Armenia after the Russian-Persian War of 1826-1828 in the villages of Qoyalsar (Dmitrovo), Doogoon, Gol-Aisor and later Arzni and Shakhriyar.

Lebanon is the crossroads of the three continents which is called the Gates of the East. Many Christian communities and sects find refuge in the mountains of Lebanon. After World War I and the genocide committed by the Ottoman Turkey, Assyrian settlements appear in Lebanon for the first time.
